A unique documentary celbrating 100 years of a football club - Moreland City FC. Formed in 1916 as Coburg, this documentary captures 100 years of histroy and connection to community. 100 Years Strong will provide you with some great memories as you hear from some legends of the game, as well as some great characters that have been associated with this great club. Narrated by George Donikian, it includes interviews with former Socceroos and Olympians. This documentary embraces the essence of our beautiful game.

MiniRoos Registration Day
Note that Registration Day for the MiniRoos, players from the Under 5's through to the Under 11's, will be held at Campbell Reserve on Sunday the 6th of March from 9:00am through to 12:00pm.
Registration Day officially launches season 2016 and gives all parents and children an opportunity to meet and greet coaches and team managers and gain an understanding of what this season will be bring.
The canteen will be open and a sausage sizzle will be firing. Whilst no formal games will be organised for the day, balls cones and goals will be made available for those that wish to have a kick around and a play.
Note also that whilst we have kicked off training and are underway, the miniroos season is still some time away, so families and players who are looking for a club to play for are most welcome to come down and join.
Player Signing Moreland City is excited to announce that Apai Ukuno is joining the club for season 2016. Ukuno, formerly of Welsh Premier League club Gap Connah’s Quay, most recently played with Brisbane Strikers in the QLD NPL, where he helped the club reach the QLD NPL Grand Final and the last 32 of FFA Cup
Head Coach, Adrian Mathers, said the 24 year old forward will provide Moreland City with another attacking option, as we look to improve on our 3rd place finish in 2015. “Apai’s pace and mobility will cause headaches for opposition clubs. Already we can see he brings a great attitude, ambition and a character that will fit perfectly in our change room. We are very pleased to have him with us”

Former VPL Golden Boot winner Trent Rixon has agreed terms with Moreland City for season 2016. The former Northcote City and South Melbourne striker arrives at Campbell Reserve with huge pedigree and prolific goal scoring record at the highest level of Victorian Football.
Head coach, Adrian Mathers, commented “We set the stalls out early with Trent, recognising we needed experience and leadership for a squad with an average age around 22. Aside from that, he is a proven goalscorer with a winning mentality”. Mathers continued “A lot of clubs had interest in Trent, so for him to decide to join us is a huge boost for our squad and validates the ambitions we carry into 2016”. Welcome Trent
